Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch cake pan and set aside.

2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the milk and vanilla extract and mix until combined.

3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
